Evermore Blossoms Process Agreement
Thank you for choosing Evermore Blossoms to preserve your special flowers!
I promise to take care of your flowers from start to finish.
Drop off is at my home in Greenwood by appointment only. I will send you my address once the appointment has been made.
If you are not local then I will instruct you on packing and shipping. You will be responsible for shipping fees.
Here is the process:
When dropping off your flowers I do ask for 50% down to pay for supplies, this will go toward your total amount due. This is of course if you haven’t booked ahead.
I will then send an invoice for the remainder of the balance when I start the order. This will be sometime between 4-6 months after drop off. You can also pay in full at drop off.
Your balance is due before pouring or assembling begins.
It is important to know that not all flowers will make it through the drying process. Some may fall apart, too much for repair and some may mold. Molding of the flowers typically only happens if it’s been 5 days or longer since the flowers were fresh or if the flowers are arranged with wet foam in the center.
White flowers may dry to an ivory or even brown color.
Red flowers will darken in color as well.
If your flowers are already dry then they will be very brittle. I will do my best to keep them intact during the process. Unfortunately this can be very difficult and some may shatter.
The process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months depending on if the flowers have been dried or not and also how busy I am. I will do my best to update you along the way. I am just as excited as you are!
The finished product will sit for a few days to cure. Coasters, trays and tables will need an additional 1-2 weeks till being used. They are food safe and heat safe ONLY up to 200 degrees. They may be better used for cold drinks. It is also important to keep your piece out of direct sunlight or it will yellow. Store your piece(s) in a cool dry place and away from temperatures that exceed 78 degrees.
To clean your resin piece(s) use only water and a microfiber towel. No harsh chemicals.
Epoxy resin can be very hard to manage and there may be bubbles unfortunately.
I will make every effort to not have bubbles or other flaws but it is important to know they may occur. With these prices being handmade, they will each be different and with small flaws. If necessary the piece may be discounted if I decide to.
It is important to know that resin over time may “amber” or yellow. This can take many years if it does occur. I do use resin with high UV resistance to keep this from happening.
Also for frames, flowers can rehydrate!
I do take every precaution to keep that from happening. I have not witnessed this myself, but it is important to be aware of the possibility.
For frames 11x14 and larger you will be given the option to upgrade to museum grade glass with uv protection and very little glare. This will helps keep your flowers protected from direct sunlight.
Evermore Blossoms will not be held responsible for damage or loss of flowers in the event of a natural disaster or event out of our control including shipping damages or lost packages.
Please know these pieces are just as important to me as they are to you and I take pride in taking my time. I am happy to answer any questions you have on the process.
You may want to consider booking in advance as I can book up very quickly and suddenly. There are times I can and will take last minute orders that are within the same week or even day but it is very beneficial to book in advance so I am ready and can have all the appropriate materials I need to dry your flowers.
To book your date you will need to put 50% down. Also keep in mind once you book there is an on refundable $75 fee. This is in place because there are only so many bookings I can take in a week.
Thank you,
Ashley Brazeal
